Frestur til að skila inn ágripum hefur verið framlengdur til 8. mars! / Deadline for submission of abstracts has been extended until March 8.
Næsta ráðstefna og aðalfundur Vistfræðifélagsins innanlands verða haldin 5. apríl 2024 á Reykjavík. Ráðstefnan er skipulögð í samstarfi við Stofnun rannsóknasetra Háskóla Íslands og verður haldin í Öskju (HÍ), stofu 132.
Skráning á ráðstefnuna fer fram hér og hægt verður að senda inn ágrip til og með 8. mars 2024. Við tökum á móti ágripum hér. Ágripið má vera allt að 250 orð. Hver fyrirlesari mun aðeins geta flutt eitt erindi. Við hvetjum nemendur til að senda inn ágrip. Við hlökkum til að taka á móti umsóknum ykkar og vonum að þær verði sem flestar.
Einnig vekjum við athygli á heils dags vinnusmiðju fyrir skráða félaga í VistÍs þann 6. apríl í kjölfar ráðstefnu félagsins 2024. Á vinnustofunni munu þátttakendur fá fræðslu um hagnýtar leiðir í miðlun eigin rannsóknaverkefna, bæði til almennings og vísindasamfélagsins.

Our annual spring conference and AGM will take place on April 5, 2024. We are running the meeting in collaboration with the Institute of Research Centres of the University of Iceland and the meeting will be held in Askja, the University of Iceland's Natural Science Building, in room 132.
Registration to the conference takes place here, and deadline for submissions will be March 8, 2024. All abstract submissions should be made through this form. Abstracts can be up to 250 words. We only accept one abstract for an oral presentation per presenting author. We strongly encourage submissions from students. We look forward to receiving your abstracts!
We would also like to draw the attention to a full-day workshop open to members of VistÍs on April 6, following the VistÍs conference 2024. At the workshop, participants will receive training on practical ways to communicate their own research projects, both to the public and the scientific community.
