The Nordic Society Oikos and the European Ecological Federation (EEF) would like to express their thanks to all participants and organisers for making the Nordic Oikos 2024 meeting such a great success! It would not have been possible without the help of numerous volunteers, the organising committee and everyone responsible behind (and on) the scences for the localities, food, entertainment and a lot more!
This year's meeting beat the records for the largest NSO meeting yet, with just over 450 participants. We hope you enjoyed the exciting sciences from 136 talks and over 180 posters and had a chance to network with new and old colleagues.
Next Nordic Oikos Meeting 2026
The next Nordic Oikos meeting will be held on 14-17 September 2026 in Odense, Denmark, together with the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GfÖ). For this meeting, over 1000 delegates are expected, so keep your eyes out for it!
The meetings of the national ecological societies will be held in 2025 (note that the Icelandic Society has yearly meetings) and you can find details on the homepages of each national society.
