Odense is centrally located in Denmark and well-connected by air, rail, and road. It is easily accessible via three international airports: Billund, Copenhagen, and Hamburg. Each offers direct flights to over 230 global destinations and full car rental services. Visitors may also benefit from tax-free car hire in Denmark.

Travel times to Odense:

  • Billund Airport: ~1h 30m by public transport | ~1h 20m by car
  • Copenhagen Airport: ~1h 40m by train | ~1h 50m by car
  • Hamburg Airport: ~4h 30m by train/bus | ~3h 35m by car

For planning your journey via public transport, we recommend using the Rejseplanen journey planner which offers real-time connections in English.
